James Marshall Hendrix (1942-1970) fue guitarrista , cantante , compositor y leyenda estadounidense. aunque su discografia original termina en 1970 , la discografica siguio sacando discos con temas ineditos y remasterizaciones (12 en total hasta ahora) . 

una de las mayores influencias del rock y uno de los mejores guitarristas de la historia (considerado el mejor por muchos) ; ademas popularizo el uso de efectos como el "wah wah" .

Estilo : blues rock (entre otros muchos).
