Fue un importante e influyente grupo de rock bajo el formato power trio formado en 1977 hasta su disolucion en 1986. liderados por gordon matthew sumner (alias sting) , andy summers(guitarra) y stewart copeland (bateria). una discografia que se nos hace corta por lo bien que la pasan nuestros oidos. consiguen un sonido muy particular y experimental mezclando rock y reggae ; sutileza y dominio excelente en cada instrumento que escuchamos. el productor entiende perfectamente el sonido que quiere transmitir la banda.
